From the 23rd of November, it’s going to be a whole lot easier for overseas students to study in Australia. The Minister for Immigration and Border Protection Scott Morrison, announced earlier in the week the intention to allow an additional 55 education providers to the list of study institutions eligible for the Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP).
With a 27% increase reported for the 2013-2014 year of international students granted Visas to study in Australia, it is move that is welcomed by ministers, students and education providers alike. Minister Pyne commented “Extending SVP arrangements will help capitalise on these trends, reducing red tape and helping to attract future students from overseas.”
