There has been a major change in the Australian Migration Legislation. Previously, if you had a visa refused or cancelled onshore. You could not apply for another visa in Australia that is called the section 48 bar. However, from 13th November 2021 due to the Covid pandemic, that section 48 bar will be lifted for those who are applying for a 491,490,190 visa. So, the candidates now can apply for that visa onshore without having to leave the country
UPDATE THE CURRENCIES AND CONVERSION RATES
From 1st January 2022, the new conversion instrument and currency instruments have been amended by Home Affairs. Schedule 2 of the Home Affairs Legislation Amendment will be implemented to allow citizenship application fees, and refunds of citizenship application fees where appropriate, to be paid in foreign countries and foreign currencies.The Citizenship Regulation for payments are reviewed every six months to reflect currency fluctuations and changes to acceptable currencies. Payment of Visa Application Charges and Fees in Foreign Currencies LIN 22/001 will be used for the current instrument 21/003.
