Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is currently doing his part to promote investment into Australia at a recent event on his visit to China.
Mr Turnbull was the keynote speaker at a recent tourism lunch attended by some powerful business identities where he encouraged and welcomed the relationship between Australian business and Chinese investors.
“I’m here to help Australian exporters open doors which have locked. Already CHAFTA is injecting new energy and ambition into our own economy. It’s adding strength, breadth and dynamism to the relationship between our two peoples.” said Mr Turnbull in his opening address.
China is officially Australia’s biggest trading partner with the newly signed ChAFTA (Chinese-Australia Free Trade Agreement) now in place to allow a more seamless transition before the countries and to encourage more international investment.
