Domino’s pizza giant have launched an internal investigation on Sunday 12th February 2017 after they discovered Fairfax media had secretly recorded an undercover investigation into a Domino’s franchisee asking for money in exchange for visa sponsorship in a regional Queensland store.

The investigator (name withheld)  had agreed to go undercover to assist with exposing how blatantly easy this highly illegal activity can be.  The franchisee at Domino’s was caught red-handed trying to offer sponsorship as a store manager in return for big $.

The fees are extremely variable in price and can range from $30,000 to $150,000 depending on the visa, the type of job on offer and the nationality of the applicant. It is highly illegal to provide a benefit for visa sponsorship, ask for, or, receive money and the Department of Immigration take illegal practices very seriously with penalties of two years imprisonment and a fine of up to $324,000.
