Studying in Australia

Australia is the third most popular country in the world for international students.  The lifestyle, weather, diversity of attractions and of course the amount of opportunities to study, have put the country right at the top of the list of places international students want to visit.  From the available 1,100 learning institutions around Australia, international students can choose from over 22,000 different courses.

The Australian Government is also behind the push for foreign students to make Australia their chosen study destination through its annual investment of $200,000,000 on international scholarships. The country is quickly becoming known for it’s acceptance of other cultures through it’s immigration program and also the encouragement for students to come to Australia for their studies with 47% percent of the Australian population being born outside of Australia – or who’s parent was born outside of Australia.

Studying in Australia is possible through several different visa options:

  • (ELICOS) Subclass 570

There is also the option for parents and relatives of approved international students to apply for a Student Guardians visa.
