Increase to Partner Visa Fee from January 2015

From the 1st of January 2015 the Department of Immigration and Border Protection has announced there will be an increase of up to 50% to the application fees for Partner Visa Application Charge (VAC) subclasses.

The increases that will be introduced from Janauary 1st 2015 include:

  • Provisional and permanent partner visas –  $4,627.50 (currently $3,085.00)
  • Prospective marriage visa – $4627.50 (currently $3085.00)
  • Temporary and permanent partner visas – $6,865.50 (currently $4,575)

If you are unable to afford the new increase there are other Visa options available such as a Skilled Visa.

This increase will not effect existing applications for Partner Visa’s that have already been lodged. We suggest if you are wanting to apply before the increase is enforced, to contact our head office immediately. Due to the Christmas holidays many offices and official Government agencies will be closing or operating on skeleton staff.
